The project is designed for the 100 women and children who use the shelter but have very limited access to reading material.  The shelving and reading/drawing room has  temporarily been installed on the first floor of the shelter and will be moved to an upstairs lounge area that is being restored.  Once the work is complete by the volunteers, the space should hold about 400-500 books.
